<p>I have so many finals this week. My IB Math final is four days and starts tomorrow, and my IB Spanish is three to four days and starts tomorrow as well. Then my IB Bio final is Thursday and Friday, and my IB ITGS is sometime this week (she hasn’t told us when…) Then I have the ACT on Saturday. During this time I also have to do my entire Bio IA, which our teacher hasn’t given us enough time for. Then the next week I have my U.S. History and English regents, and my IB English IOC the following week. THEN I have a couple days of break before Girl’s State.</p>

<p>Weird thing going on in the Land of Elleya’s High School.</p>
<p>So the freshman are taking science MCAS tomorrow, but so are all the sophomores and juniors who have never taken one before. 284 kids out of like 830. srsbzness. </p>
<p>And then the administration decided to start classes two hours late so the little freshman don’t miss precious pre-finals prep time (which, by being in MCAS, they are missing anyways). So I was all “YIPPEE! NO CLASS UNTIL 10!” …and then comes the caveat, “However, students who are attending the senior prom MUST be in school at 7:50 and report to a directed study if they are planning on being dismissed early.”</p>
<p>Head bashing into desk ensues. I’m pretty sure i’m not getting dismissed but it all depends on if my mom is leaving work early, so we’d rather be safe than sorry. I hate our administration sometimes.</p>
<p>Also one of the sophomores in my bio class (who aren’t supposed to be there, it’s a junior class) was like, “YOU’RE going to senior prom?,” which is definitely not the cattiest thing i’ve heard in a long time. Then she asked me who I was going with, and I would’ve told her but she was giving me attitude, so I gave her attitude right back about how it wasn’t any of her damn business and why it mattered to her.</p>
<p>Obviously she’s the only sophomore going to the prom. God. Damn. Can’t wait to sit in Directed Study with her tomorrow.</p>
<p>This prom had better be worth it.</p>

<p>I have some great essay ideas, so I’m actually excited. This is crazy. It’s finals week, but yeah I’ll probably start soon.</p>

I’m just going to be out of the state basically until mid-August starting next week.

<p>is it weird that i actually enjoy writing these kind of essays? like i finished my common app essay since i wanted to do it and have my current ap lang teacher look it over and if i had more time on my hands i would not mind writing a bunch of supplements and stuff one bit!</p>
<p>I really enjoy them too, actually. I’m going to spread them over summer so that they can be enjoyable and not stressful. </p>
<p>I have some personal/creative writing pieces that I really like which I can definitely tweak for a few supplements as well.</p>

<p>same! i’m using bits and pieces from my NCTE essays for different things and i actually have cut outs from rough drafts of them that i can use</p>

<p>I’m not sure about other apps, I just noticed Georgetown cause its one of my top choices.</p>
<p>^^have you visited yet? i was supposed to memorial day weekend since we get 4 days off, but then my parents and i realized that going to the capital on memorial day might not be the best idea. now i am not sure i am going to be able to visit since i might just see notre dame instead and it would be too expensive to see all of my schools especially since we are already flying to one! but if it is worth it to see it, maybe i could convince my parents</p>
