Hey guys, I already made a thread for this, but I wanna ask it here too. How many reach, possible, and safety schools are you applying to, and how many total?

thanks

thanks

i’ve visited eight. i’m done with the touring.

@rayna3 thanks for the information
now ill try to look for some colleges that interest me and then maybe visit. I have like an ideal of where i want to apply but it’s a short list because i haven’t researched other colleges much.
Maybe i’ll get a chance to visit Boston this summer too XD It’ll add a chance to try Boston Creme pie~ jk im not only after deserts even though i do like them XD

I want to go to either sewanee or wofford (not sure which one yet) and be on the pre law track and then go to duke law!!

@runallday4: It varies. I’m probably apply to 2 safeties, 4 matches, and 2 reaches. :)

My goal is 3-4 reach, 5 match, and 2-3 safeties, but I have to do some serious narrowing down for that.

I’ve never really been much of a reader, I actually really dislike it, but I’m making it my goal to read 5 books from front to cover by the end of the summer. So far I have:

1984
Little Brother
Freakonomics
The Secret History

I need one more, any suggestions?

The Great Gatsby if you haven’t read it. It’s good and the movie’s coming out this winter.

^^ Looooooved Freakonomics

I second The Great Gatsby! Wonderful novel.

Water for Elephants is also very good. If you haven’t read The Last Lecture yet, I recommend that as well. If you’re up to something from a different culture, try Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Last one, I swear, is a Brave New World.

Okay, I’m done now.

I was actually supposed to read that for English class this year. I read most of it; I skipped a few boring parts but I got the main gist of it. I feel like I didn’t really give it a fair chance though, so I may re-read it if my library has a copy.

I’ll look those up, thanks!

One flew over the cuckoos nest and the kite runner are two of my all time favorites!
I have like no safeties, im hoping i get into a few targets ea i dont have totell wasre the application fee on somewhere i dont really wana go

@yankeesfanatic: No problem! :)

The Kite Runner is my required reading for English this summer. I also want to read Les Miserables and The Great Gatsby.

I recommend Survival of the Sickest. It’s really interesting.

I just finished one who flew over the cuckoo’s nest! I liked the great gatsby as well.

I just want to be smart, GPA and SAT wise but I’m not. Intelligence=happiness for me

Hi fellow seniors! I’m kind of new to the whole CC world and thought I would make an appearance here :)

Has anyone else had senioritis for FOREVER? I’m serious when I say I’ve had it since the first day of 7th grade. I can’t wait to graduate! ahh.

I’m hoping to major in musical theatre either in CA, NY, MA, IL, or VA. But if I can’t make a career out of performing, I want to be a US marshal or something ;)

Best of luck to everyone as we dive into this crazy year of applications, essays, deadlines and the waiting game! :)

I have major senioritis because if I was born one day sooner, I’d be graduating on the 23rd. :(

The waiting game? I have Senioritis like after the AP test. I was like “MY BRAIN IS FREE!”, but somehow I manage to get a better Final Grade on my report cards then all other year…

@iluvbooks: that stinks. if I was born a month earlier, I’d be graduating with 2012 as well. But then again, I probably won’t be alive if I was born a month earlier. I was already born 8 weeks early. o_O

Lol. If I was born 3 months later I would be in class of 2014 lmao.
