<p>Im so nervous for senior year. Does anyone know if the University of Florida (my dream school) looks at upward trends in gpa? my gpa is only at the 25percentile for them but their is a upward trend.</p>
<p>I’m not 100% sure about your question, but maybe you could look into applying early decision if its your first choice.</p>

<p>Wassup! How my fellow seniors doing? So far I done nothing last month…</p>
<p>Exhausted. Worked 10:30-3 yesterday and 1-6:30 today.</p>
<p>I wanted to cry halfway through my shift today. I scooped slush until my wrist was sore, my hands were stained red, and I had a little cut on my finger. People are mad rude.</p>
<p>I’m working 11:30 to 7:15, which almost makes me want to cry, but 11:30-1:30 is swim lessons (yay! getting paid to swim on a hot day) and I have a one-hour break (also paid for!) before I have to go cry into the lemon slush (maybe my bitter tears will melt it a little better).</p>
<p>Bleh no luck finding a job, so for now it’s babysitting and softball 
I have a double header every Tuesday, All stars for my other team starts tmm. Gonna go take my sister to watch Brave, have to start reading my AP lit books, Going on vacation from July 18 to August 2nd- North Carolina and the Puerto Rico; when I get back I’ll babysit 3x a week for a month and get 120$ each week. I’m saving for an iPad next summer, don’t want to make my mom spend that money… What do you guys think iPad or Laptop for college?</p>

<p>Laptop. They launched a program at my HS where they gave the freshman iPads (don’t even get me started on how much of a waste of $$$ and bandwidth that is, lol…), so they could use them ‘innovatively’.</p>
<p>What a crapshoot. They had to open up their papers and print them in the library just like the rest of us did. Do yourself a favor and get a nice laptop for the same price, or a netbook with money to spare.</p>
<p>Yeah but i would get it knowing I’d still have to print stuff from a lab or I could take my mini wireless printer and have it in my room like my friend-on the schools network. Besides i don’t even know how much of the papers would need to be printed. At my school all English classes have gone paperless and the schools I’ve looked at and visited all put a heavy emphasis on being green. I have a while to decide but I have an old laptop and my mom has a laptop and both have crashed with minimal Internet/ gaming usage. I’ve never had an issue with my iPod though. </p>
<p>Like I said I still have a long time to decide but I’m thinking I will get it because if convenience and portability as well as battery life. Also I’d be and education/ pysch major do I wouldnt need to worry about lack of necessary programs.</p>
<p>121 Days till November 1st, the ED/EA deadline for many schools. Wow, I need to start working. I really want to have them all done before school starts, but I’m such a procrastinator.</p>
<p>I just got back from Girls State, and I’m off to Girls Nation in less than a month! Plus, my ACT score was really good, and I know if I study I can bring it up.</p>
<p>Aah. Today I will be (hopefully) starting my application for Pace University and for LIU I’m not sure whether or not I want to apply to saint rose :0</p>
