<p>@ebriscoe I love Latin! But I take Italian as well instead of Spanish. I had to drop Latin this year because of scheduling issues. </p>
<p>I also love chem, and I’ll probably love physics once I take it. No idea what I can do career wise in either of those…</p>

I think the last two (sophomore nat ap scholars) from my state were also from my school…in 07, but I could be wrong.</p>

Which tests did you take?</p>
<p>Freshman year I took APUSH, comp sci A and this year (last year?) I took bio, chem, environmental, psych, english lang and euro. You?</p>

<p>haha panda, being an ap scholar isn’t as prestigious itself, there are plenty of national ap scholars and whatnot that are rejected from top universities.</p>
<p>Iambenk, last year I took human geo, physics b and calc bc, this year, statistics, chem, both physics c’s and world</p>
<p>Are you aiming for state scholar too, astro? I might be able to get it next year…I’m taking seven and in past years it’s only taken 13-14 tests to be state scholar.</p>
<p>And panda, it’s not a huge deal to college admissions. Most schools don’t let freshman/sophomores take AP tests so you’re not looked down upon if you don’t have these awards.</p>
<p>Um, I don’t think so, I have to get an art credit (non ap) and I’m planning on doing two years of non ap math ( like multivariate or whatever) along with spanish next year, so I think I’ll have 12 by teh end of next year and 17 by the end of HS, so idk if i can win it because washington is a fairly competitive state.</p>

<p>My guidance counselor reacted as though I was the second coming of Christ when she found out that I made the cutoff for NMSF as a sophomore.</p>
<p>How do you qualify for the nat’l ap scholar? Also, when do scores come out…I know that they are already out by phone, but when will they be mailed?</p>

You have to take at least 8 APs and have a certain average across the scores for them.</p>
<p>The scores will be mailed the first week of July, as I have heard.</p>
<p>Average of 4 and no lower than a 4 on any exam</p>
<p>I’ve been on vacation and so I haven’t called about my scores but I’m nervous because I took 3 of the hardest exams offered at our school and I self studied one of them!</p>
