My school doesn’t offer many APs, either, and I’ve just about milked them for all they’re worth prematurely. I took double science last year (AP Bio and AP Chem), which was pretty interesting. Next year, as far as I’m concerned, I’ll only have three APs left to take. I’m sad. :(

Since everybody else is posting their schedules, I guess I will, too.

Pre-AP Physics (I wish they’d offer AP, but oh well)
Pre-Calculus
College Algebra
Theatre Productions
AP US History
AP Literature
PE
AP Language

I’ll most likely end up having half of my senior schedule at a local college, although I’m not too sure how dual enrollment works.

I’m taking AP Calc. Definitely the hardest of the AP’s that I’m taking. I’ve been pacing myself, and it usually takes about 3 hours a day to get done what you should in that class.
The good news is that it should clear out the class a little. I’ve heard multiple girls talk about how they’ve cried because of the homework.

Man, and I thought I had it bad. I go to a below average public high school in Texas. We have few courses that, at the end of the year, you can truthfully say that you learned something/were pushed to work your hardest.

My school is definitely below average too. We don’t have much going on here. Our highlights here are sports (which aren’t that great anyway) and the marching band. (I’m in that<3)
I’m scared that the high school I go to will affect me when it comes to applying for colleges. Anyone else have the same concern?

I feel really blessed now. I go to one of the best schools in the state and our teachers are pretty amazing. The only thing is that it’s competitive, and you feel pressured to take a lot of AP classes.

Pre-Calc/ Calc H
AP English Lit-Took lang last year and got a 4 hoping for a 5 this year
AP Biology-Sounds fun, I love Bio and am hoping for a 5!
French IV H-my last year of french, hallelujah
AP US History-at least where I live everyone takes US Junior year, and a lot take it AP (around 40%)
Independent Science Research-Super excited for this, it’s new at my school

Still waiting for my schedule, but these are the classes I chose for grade 11:

Bio 11 (advanced)
Chem 11 (advanced)
Physics 11 (advanced)
English 11 (advanced)
French 11 (advanced) (elective)
AP Calculus 12 (basically Calculus 12 advanced, AP exam is optional but I think I will write it)
Advanced Functions 12 (advanced)
Computer Science 11 (elective)

I also want to self-study some APs but I need to talk to the head GC about that as soon as school starts. Apparently they might not let me. :/

I’m still waiting for my schedule, but the classes I chose were:

Ap Psychology
Ap European History ( post, which means it’s an after school class. we meet twice a week)
Biology Honors
Algebra2/Precalculus Honors( double block, which means I take them one after the other)
World History Honors
L.A.LitIII Honors
French III Honors
Health/Phy.Ed./Drivers ed (required to take phys ed and health all four years)

My school offers tons of Ap’s, but we’re forced to take prerequistics and rarely do people ever skip. Only 8th graders who did well on this entrance exam we took were able to take APUSH ( I don’t know if there’s another way though…). Like writingdog’s school, a lot of us are pressured to take as many Ap’s as possible, but for some students it feels like a disadvantage. I came from a catholic school, so I was never able to take Biology or PSI Physics in 8th grade. People from some public schools were able to, thus they were able to take those Ap’s.

I also took a class called PSI Physics freshman year, so that’s why I’m doing Biology only now. My order was basically screwed up to Physics–>Chemistry–>Biology, so I won’t be able to take the one Ap I really want to take (Bio) until senior year…

Well, sorry about that little rant… xD I do hope everyone enjoys junior year! …somehow… :D

Hey guys, I was thinking maybe we should all post our top few schools so that we have something to work for and just so we can share it
Mine right now are Cornell and Vanderbilt
