Jpmetz is a YouTube celebrity,who lives in New Jersey. :P

Of course? LOL.

Congratulations PoliticalProtege! I find CR very hard. any suggestions?

@HopefulDCjob - Why do you have to take algebra I in 9th if you’ve taken algebra II is 8th?? Did you move to a totally different district or something?

@Hopeful, that is TRULY SAD. I really, really feel for u.

@Hopefor, it got to be a mistake. There must be a way to avoid doing that. don’t give up!
@Political, Congratulations!!!
@hopefor, isn’t 234 PSAT a very high score?! (I’m not really familiar with PSAT scoring.) You’re great!

OK guys I’m off to CTY camp tomorrow. talk to you all in 3 weeks. I am really excited about the camp. It’s very expensive so I’m very thankful to my parents, but they say this is the last time. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll enjoy every minute of it. I went there last year and spent the best 3 weeks of my life there.

Enjoy your summer!

Good luck at CTY! I loved my experience. Which campus.

If you do Alg 2 in 8th, someone’s a genius.

@PoliticalProtege: I did, haha. I’m taking Geometry in 9th.

I didn’t know anyone who did algebra 2 before geometry. In 9th grade I’ll do both - algebra 2 and geometry. so i may have hope to do precal in 10th.

@political, I’m going to Lancaster. (just watched the movie Witness. lol) Last year I was at JHU.

Sorry guys, I’ve been watching horror movies all day. PSAT-234 = SAT-2340, you just add the zero. We just are not allowed to skip classes? I think they tried that a few years ago and it FAILED??? It’s fine with me, I can sleep in Algebra 1 Honors and Health next year. My HS send 2 NYU,1 Northeastern,2 Ohio State,20 to Vanderbilt, 50 to state school ,and the others go to CC.
Since, my family income is 16,000 yearly. I will apply Questbridge.
rant/ I torn my frekin ACL!

Hope for DC: We send a bunch of kids into Ivies every year.
Tell me about injuries: I’ve sprained my ankle three times and broken my thumb this year.

Hobbit: That makes no sense. Don’t you need Geo for Alg 2.

Shmluza: I’m not sure if you told me, but what course?

I’m doing ancient Greek. Which one did you do? I bought the books. they look really fun!

My HS has sent zero student to Ivies in its entire history. Even though I did no research, I’m absolutely sure about that.

Political: My school system does it that way :P.

Most students at my school have that, “stay within 2 hours of home,” personality, when it comes to college.

^If I’m doing stay within two hours of home, I can go to UPenn, Princeton, and Columbia.
Hobbit: Are you from down south? JKJKJKJK
Shmluza: I did MUN. Have fun doing ancient greek! My friend is doing macroeconomics at JHU.
I’ve been lucky to live where so many great colleges are so close to me. Princeton, Rutgers, Columbia, UPenn, NYU, Swarthmore. Princeton’s really great, because they offer so many activities even for non college students.

I love Princeton. Go TIGERS! I haven’t been to CTY before, what’s it like? My school’s sent 8 people to Harvard in the past 4 years, 10 to Yale and like 12 to Princeton apparently which I thought is pretty impressive.
