<p>Haha yeah! To public schools! But in all honesty, my school’s not that bad. They offer plenty of academic opportunities for me. They have 25+ APs and the IB Diploma.</p>
<p>I agree with swinter. Public school is awesome, I went to public elementary and middle schools, but opted for private for high school…</p>

I was in a private school from K to half of 5th. Then public school from the rest of 5th to 8th…
Now I’ll be going to a charter high school. Lol.</p>

<p>I went to a charter school for the first like 2 weeks of kindergarten. I don’t really get the difference betwedn charter and public though.</p>

<p>From what I could gather with 5 minutes of googling, it’s basically a public high school with more control of rules and regulations than other public schools. =)</p>

<p>Yeah, charter schools are basically government funded schools without the restrictions of public schools in that of standardized testing (eww) and such.</p>
<p>I went to Montreal and Quebec City in Canada, went I came back I gave the register at a NY convenience store a really weird look for not speaking in French. Oh and the weather is AWESOME, seriously I just want to go there every summer to escape the heat!</p>
<p>Well I guess I’m going to be the lonely theater nerd here, oh well not the only time. I play the piano and have a bunch of band friends so I guess I can understand a bit. I’m planning on doing plays and volleyball the fall season. My private school does 30 minutes of clubs after school and then play rehearsals and sports practice start after. So I’m psyched I can do both! And with plays they split it up, so I’m only there when needed. I’m getting kinda psyched for school. Oh right. I made an account for College Confidential. Of course I adore school.</p>
<p>I went to a charter school from first to seventh grade and I loved it. We did have to take standardized tests like all the other schools, though. It’s basically a school that is run by a group of parents that are elected to represent the school.</p>
