@Bassoon that’s awesome! seems like it’ll be a pretty hard though. Especially if you need a 90 to pass.

@SaiRam I was pretty nervous, but not anymore since I’ve already started school. It’s not too bad.

anybody else here on tumblr?

@Swinter: You already started school?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
@Basoonapus: Pretty cool! When are you taking the test? And let me know if I can help you Math was my only good subject lol

@Bassonapus Good luck on the test! I took geometry in 7th grade and it was the easiest class ever. It’s mostly logic and the problems give you so much info. BTW, I’ve always wanted to play the basson, until I found out it plays in the bass clef. Now I play a double reed instrument that plays in the treble clef.

@mathguy yeah my I started on Monday 'cause my district’s on a year-round schedule. Fall, winter, and spring break are two weeks each (but usually they’re like 17-18 days long because of staff inservice days) and summer break is seven weeks long.

@Swinter: That’s awesome! I wish I had that type of schedule!

@mathguy: thanks!
@eveningswan: seventh? hot damn! my school would never let that happen no matter how good at math you are -_- and also does that instrument happen to be the oboe?

@bassoonapus: haha no problem! So, if you don’t mind me asking, when does your school start?

I FEEL SO ALONE… I played percussion (which I really liked)… and then quit

September 4
I have to take the geometry test on aug 14th though SO IM SO FLIPPING NERVOUS
WHAT IF I DONT GET IN
I"LL LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT :’’’’’’’’’’(’’’’’’’

OH OKAY WELL HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
*throws a 3,000 page mathematical dictionary at you, along with a thick geometry textbook.

Haha, I’m just kidding, you’ll do fine.

What is your weakest point in geometry?

Btw, your username is really addicting

Oh, and by the way, remember that:

If a conditional statement is true, ITS CONTRAPOSITIVE IS ALSO TRUE :)

I’m not in band so I feel like an odd man out :P. well anyway, I either want to go into politics, be a judge, or go into journalism.

^awesome! There’s not enough non-science/math career hopefuls out there! But yeah, don’t worry I don’t play band anymore.

I don’t really have a ‘weak point,’ persay. I just have to stop being a baby and memorize these formulas!
Although i don’t think I’m very good at proofs. But I might be wrong because I’m terrible at assessing my abilities.

also why do you find my username addicting? lol

@theatlantic - if you go into politics everyone will hate you

Lol be a political speechwriter. Powerful (if the politician doesn’t change what you wrote) but behind the scenes so that you don’t run the risk of being shot or something. Or be the president’s wife lol.

@Bassoonapus
I want to be small-scale like a Mayor. I really like the idea of Gov’t, just not the way it’s sometimes run. And I’d teach, but it’d be unconventionable & they are really underpaid

@Swinter: Yeah, all of the power with none if the blame :D. Secretary of State would be great. I don’t know many people who don’t like Hilary Clinton

^you and me have the same interests! I like stuff like politics, econ, etc. My favorite subject is social studies. My teacher’s trying to push STEM on me though because I’m good at it but don’t particularly like it.

@Bassoonapus
Haha, that’s good! Formulas are easy to remember if you constantly use them.
I was never that great at proofs either. But practice= almost perfect

Lol, I don’t know; I just really like your username. It’s fun to say it. Basssssssooooooonnnnapus. Baaaasssssssoooooooooooooooooooooonnnnaaaaaapppppuuuss.
Okay, I must be really tired or something…

Yeah, I just dont do Historical Dates (Ga Hist was a snooze) , I did Science Olympiad (which is really fun & different from all the other events) but Science was my hardest class in school.
