My goal is to graduate high school, even though 95% of the time it sucks and I’m stressed most of the time. College I’ll socialize more and get into some awesome parties.

TheGCx, make sure you develop good social skills in HS. As much as some people want to believe it, social habits don’t change over night.

You should use that year to go abroad.

which year?

Oh, I ran some quick mental calculations, and theoretically, I should be able to graduate college anywhere from 1.5-2 years early. With a 70k starting salary, doing something I love, and being only 20 years old, **** yeah!

How realistic are those mental calculations?

^
Exactly. How do you know you’ll earn 70k a year, let alone graduate college early.

Geez, why the rush? You only have one chance in life for everything- hence YOLO. xD

EveningSwan, don’t say Yolo, I hate that.

TheAtlantic, Idk, I wouldn’t say dead on, but they shouldn’t be too far off. I looked on Purdue’s website and I’m fairly certain I can do it.

Rykun, maybe I should have put the word average in there. Found out its actually higher so 70k is very feasible.

Senior year

I hate it too, but the thing is, it’s TRUE. Gasp

Geez, why the rush? You only have one chance in life for everything- hence YOLO. xD

You only die once as well… O_O

^Very true. It could be Yodo.

I guess it just didn’t roll off the tounge like YOLO

I don’t think as a fourteen-year old
maybe fifteen, you should be deciding how successful you can be if you decide to graduate early. No matter how smart hard-working you are, you’re setting yourself up for a lot of stress. Stress that should endured during more important years of your life like college and work that you are actually getting paid for. In all honesty, high school will be a blur someday.

I’m not rushing through it. If you want to say Yolo, then sure, because you only live once I want to get the most done that I can, not waste my time.

So a traditional 4-Year plan for high school/college is a waste of time?

Yes, think about everything you could do in two years. Ask yourself, why take four years?

Because you rush through life and make no memories. You miss out in what you may have done in college/high school in that time because you stress yourself out on being young and successful.

These are the only four years in your entire life that you’ll get to experience high school. You get 40-50 years experiencing your work life.

What’s the point of graduating high school and college early anyways? So that you can earn more money? At the end of the day, is your socioeconomic status really /that/ important?
