High School Class of 2017

Here are my grades so far:

Algebra 2 H: 90% DAMMIT it’s cause of careless mistakes on quizzes/tests. I don’t do well under pressure.
AP Gov: 87% GOD DAMMIT
Chinese 2 H: 99% not bad; I would have a 100 if I actually tried
Bio H: 98% I would be alright with 98 but I make the dumbest mistakes.
Lit H: 100% Nice

Guys believe me, I’M NOT STUPID! I can fix my s***, I promise.

Lol, definitely! I kinda like studying… I’m weird like that but it excites me to know you’re by miserable study buddy! XD :D

^^ you’re doing really well considering the classes you’re taking! YOU CAN DO IT!

^ oh yeah, we’re the coolest! :)

Woah you all are so smart~ I don’t know my grades yet… here in Canada (at least where I live) we can’t really see our marks online or whatnot, we just have to wait till report cards, but you vaguely know your grade so.
Also, is anyone here joined the deca club? Because I was thinking of joining it but I don’t know what it’s about/what you do. Can anyone enlighten me?

@Elaina
Yep! :D

@Ivy
Today was such a handful, I don’t even wanna start… I had such a big headache it isn’t even funny (lol, yes it is). But no, I haven’t joined that club. I have trained myself not to be worried about my grades or anything because as long as I stay calm, I’ll be alright. That 60 will change tomorrow because I have all the information I need now. There’s a solution to everything if I just my mind to it :slight_smile:

(Thanks for helping me realize that Elaina :))

@Science
Same here, I have debate 3-5 than cheer (all-star cheerleading, it’s a sport) from 5:30-7:30 so I didn’t get home till 7:45. And that’s going to be every Tuesday starting now, oh my.
Three cheers for that 60 being turned into a 100! I’m pretty sure I got perfect on my drama quiz, it was super easy. And tomorrow I have a drama presentation, so I’m actually really quite excited for that!

Thanks ivy! It will soon be a 100, or I will receive of so on the assignment, but hey; all is coming together well right :slight_smile: Congrats on the quiz! I’m sure you’ll be stellar during your presentation tomorrow! :)

@ ivy I joined deca!! It’s basically a marketing thing. You go to conferences and you compete in different events. I’m not an expert so that’s all I can really say. Our meetings start later this week! Go to the national deca website for more :smiley:

Ugh it’s 8:30 and I just got home from vb. Awesome.

My day:

I got my math test back…I got a 96%.

:notbad:

I currently have a 92.2% in Math (at least I think). Just .3% more until that illustrious 4.0 in Algebra II!!!

W00T

Now I just have to get my s*** together for AP Gov…right now I need like 6% more to have a 93…dammit.

I still have time though.

The bad part of my day:

I probably sprained my ankle during lunch, and after that I had to walk from the school’s 1st floor to the 3rd floor, the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor, outside down a hill, to my bus, and finally all the way to my house. Not fun.

@Science
Thanks! Its a group thing, but we get marked individuality, thank god! I hate when you get marked as a group.
@Elaina
Cool! Yeah first meeting is tomorrow, I think I might do just to get some information on it, I’ll see.
@Yaki
Ouch! Hooray for your awesome marks though! Ice that ankle, and try to rest it, I know from experience that they hurt a lot the first couple of days after you hurt it, so try and be easy on it!

@ivyboundmadison yeah, I DID sprain my ankle before, like when I was 6 or 7. My left ankle got sprained, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the sprain from when I was 6/7 was also in the left ankle. Maybe my left ankle isn’t as strong as my right due to the original sprain?

I can rotate the ankle, stand on my tip-toes, and walk (with intense but not unbearable pain), so it might be just a minor sprain.

@y ow! Remember, RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevate) :D

I really wish i would have done that because in 9th Grade, i only passed 2 classes, and now I am not elligible to take AP classes, and I can’t have a fun year in senior year.

My score is pretty tough on the grading and GPA scales in comparison to a lot of other people on here. A 93 is an A but only a 96 and above is a 4.0. It would definately be nice if it was a bit lower. :)

Whoa. That’s tough… But mine is just a tad bit tougher. An “A” is a 95+ for me. I don’t have to same conversion scale as you (Like the 4.0 conversions) but yours is still rigorous. I’ve set my goal. Hopefully that will become reality :)

*School…

How was everyone’s day? (HUMP DAYYYYY)

Did anyone get iOS 7?? Ahh I love it :D

hey guys. I’m also class of 2017. everyone on here is so smart, while I have an 83% in honors geometry. and yakisoba, i’m with you, AP NSL kicks ass

Welcome! :slight_smile:
Hey have any of you heard of the NYC CodeNow program? I have a question if you have, They want you to put down your Overall GPA, but it’s the beginning of the school year and less than half of my grades are in. Should I just put my overall GPA from last year down?
