Yay. So happy.

Nice job yakisoba

Joindate- I LOVE HOMECOMING! But anyway, yeah starting a club would be a good bet.

@Elainajulia thx. I haven’t gotten a 100 on a math quiz/test in over a year, so it FEELS SO GOOD OH GOD YES.

btw, what does homecoming even mean? Like the actual word.

I just got my clubs brochure today. The times are ridiculous, like seriously. At least some clubs. Have reasonable timing m, or at least the ones I like. I’m gonna join Student Government (Possibly), Writing Center, and The school newspaper.

Does your school require the whole student body to take the PSAT? Cause mine does. Hoping to get 220+.

@ScienceKid99 My school is pretty terrible so no one even knows when and where clubs take place. You have to ask around to get that sort of information. I could only hope for a brochure, haha.

@Yakisoba My school only allows Juniors and Seniors to take the PSAT but yeah, the whole student body has to take it.

@yakisoba all the sophomores and juniors take it at my school.

In the spring of jr year is when everyone takes the sat or act.

^^^^I’m not really sure what homecoming means, all I know is that it’s really fun and kind of takes away from the stress of school for a week!

We are automatically signed up in Oct of Junior Year.

@Join

That is bad o.o, no brochure?
I start my clubs next week. I’m gonna be in student newspaper and Writing center. Sounds ok, I’ll see next week.

As for my grades, here they are:

Humanities: 100

Spanish 2: 104.17

Biochemistry: 92, it’s messed up because I was on that category on the grade book, and I had a 98, but I went back to the first page, it changed to a 92 because I got a 4/5 on our surprise vocabulary quiz. NOOOOOO, though, this will change :)

Research: 86, it’s ok because I have a quiz coming up on Friday, plus I have another paper coming up so those can definitely get that grade up. My current GPA is 95.5… Long ways to go, lol

Today was a good day…got to see my beautiful 103% on the algebra 2 quiz, and I got a 100% on the FRQ portion of the AP Gov test! W00H00!

Basically my teacher grades the MC portion and the FRQ portion of his tests separately (meaning you get two grades)…

He was also a former AP Gov Exam Scorer, so he grades hard…but I got a 6/6! Class average was a 77%. My friend who’s a better writer than I am got an 83%, another smart person got a low A, and I saw an F. Ouch.

I’m really happy but also really worried…I keep thinking that the 100 was a complete fluke, and I could fail the next FRQ easily…

Lol, don’t think like that (Lol, says the pessimistic one) but yeah… Don’t. Lol.

I’m glad to hear you’re getting good grades. I can’t believe my research grade. Lol, it’ll pick up. But as for Biochem, I can’t slack of on that lab report which is due next Monday :P

Hi non-old peeps!
I feel bad for those of you bogged down with assignments:( Internet hug!

School was crazy for a while, but it’s calmed down today so teachers can grade midterms.

Some of you are taking insane classes. You make me feel like a slacker. Although, in my defense I’m still 13. So. I suppose that’s an okay excuse:)

Is anyone taking AP Geography?

Dude, freshman year is so awesome. All I do is sip my Mellow Yellow Zero in class, and I’m still making pretty good grades. I was sorta struggling the first few weeks, but now I’m riding the A train. Choo choo

Hey… I’m the only one not taking an AP class here -_-… the only honors classes at my school are geometry & Spanish 2. I’m only taking Spanish 2. No, I’m not Hispanic if that’s war you’re thinking (dumb stereotype) lol, but yeah. I have a crap load of quizzes coming my way, and I still have to complete 3 projects almost all due next Monday. Crazy, but doable :P

@littlelearner ap human geography?

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I’m scared for my first aphg unit test tomorrow :(. I’ve been studying for 1.5 hrs ugh.

All my other classes are easy- peasy, so that’s good :D

@Eliainajulia imo if i were you I would stop now. Studying for 1+ hours seems to be counterproductive for me. Better to get some rest than to cram it all tonight. You can always review in the morning.

^ yeah now I’m just listening to music and texting people. I’m done studying :D

Sorry, I meant AP Human Geography. We all call it AP Geography at my school to shorten it.

Good luck on your test! I had mine on Monday (population), and I spent my Sunday studying. I met the curve, so I’m a happy girl:) I read Princeton along with my textbook, and found it very helpful. My test essay grade isn’t in yet, though, so I can’t say anything about that.

Thanks for the luck!! Great job on your test! :D

I took it today! I think I did well :D. It was easier than I thought it would be.

How was everyone else’s day?
