High School Class of 2017

How can you do that? Most of them have age restrictions of 16, I think.

I’m back everyone!

@mista no, I’m not. Unless you have connections it’s really hard to do that at our age.

@letmesee that’s not a bad percentage :slight_smile:

@sciencekid I think people on here are pretty helpful if you ask the right questions and don’t start and/ or participate in fights, but bye.

Update on me: I have all "a"s and am really happy. My school volleyball season just ended a while ago. My next season starts in a weekish! I have a lot of free time right now so I’ve been really focusing on doing the best I can in every class and I’ve been with my friends a lot also.

Hey guys! I’m also in the class of 2017 :)

Hi :slight_smile: how’s your year going? ^

Pretty good :slight_smile: It was tough adjusting to the new school but it’s getting easier. :)

Hello everyone! Thought I’d check in. My year so far:

Expository Writing Honors: 92 (would be a 94 but I forgot the 1st homework)
Geometry Honors: 87 (likely to stay around here or go down to a B)
History Honors: 98
Digital Art / Design: 92 (DEFINITELY need to raise this, I hate art teachers who actually grade :frowning: )
Fitness: 100
Spanish 3 Honors: 91
English Honors: 91 (just aced a quiz, possibly up a bit)
Science Honors: 93

I do football and debate, and I’m going to join key club when football ends.

Algebra II H: 94.45% but it should go up because of today’s test which I’m pretty sure I got >100% on.

AP Gov: 93.5% It may go up or down depending on how I did on the FRQ.

Chinese II H: 99.08% went down because of the PBA.

Bio H: 98.12% also went down because of a group project. How I hate group projects

Lit H: 92.76% Honestly this class is 10x harder than AP Gov. I just got an 84% on a quiz that I thought was for a COMPLETION GRADE. The material should be easy, but the teacher, well, let’s just say I don’t want another CC infraction. That’s how bad she is. She can’t even teach, and most of the class hates her.

Wow, everyone on here is making me feel like a slacker! Haha.

@sfl I’m sure you’re not!!

It seems like we’re all doing pretty well :slight_smile: keep it up everyone!!

Have you guys not ended first quarter yet? We got report cards today.

The grading period ended today, but we didn’t get our report cards.

It’s 11pm; I’ve been home since three. Still no homework done. Yupp, I’m lazy. These gov notes are prolly gonna take me another hour too.

Hey guys, I literally thought I was the only person who takes Spanish 3 honors due to the ogles I got on the first day and my teacher asking me if I was really good enough even though I have a 94 in the class and the only A. I personally do Debate, Math Olympiad, and Club Soccer (can’t manage school and club). It’s good to know that there are other kids out there who take school as seriously as I.

My question to you guys though is this:

Have you ever taken a (practice or actual) SAT, ACT, or PSAT and if so, what did you get?

This will be phenomenal for tracking progress in HS.

My recent practice SAT was a measly 1600. Go ahead and ridicule me with your own scores but know that I didn’t study for a minute lol.

Again, it’s great to know people like you guys and I have a feeling we will get to know each other really well

Got a 104% on my alg 2 test BOY WHATCHU KNOW BOUT IT!?!??!?!

my first 100% on a math test since 7th grade. lol

anybody studying for any competitions?

I haven’t taken the SAT/ACT/PSAT yet. Are you guys going to take both the ACT and SAT?

what are the benefits of taking the psat/act/sat so early?

I took the PSAT. I will get my scores within a few weeks. But the math section was definitely hard for me.

@ThatOneWeirdGuy

You get some practice and it helps you enroll at a summer program at a college.

Do any of you plan on doing a summer program?
