High School Class of 2017

If I don’t get accepted to the STEM high school, I will be shooting for National AP Scholar. Oh and I’m self studying AP Stats and AP Psych during sophomore year… depending on my acceptance/rejection from the AMAZING HS that doesn’t give grades  or class rank ;)…

But I am def self learning how to program using this website if anyone is interested: http://www.codecademy.com

@DigitalKing‌ How’d you know I was from California???
Where are you from?
@livelaugh7‌ Hey, I’m already using that website! I’m on Javascript, what are you on?

@livelaugh7 I’ve heard of Codecademy, but I’ve never actually visited the website before. Now I wish I had seen it before. I’m definitely going to check it out (in more depth) this summer!

@dsi411 You mentioned your time zone and I recall you saying something about the state you live in before…
I’m from the land of nice people (not true, but whatever). You can guess what state that is! :)

@dsi411‌ @DigitalKing‌ Its such a great website and I’m glad I’ve begun to use it. I finished HTML & CSS and I have just started JavaScript.

I’m from MA if you haven’t guessed haha so its 10:22pm here and are you from Texas? :)

I don’t know if I screwed myself over or not for next year.
I’m planning on taking AP World History and AP European History.
AP World History is a requirement for Pre-IB sophomores and I’m sadly replacing drama with AP European History… My teacher has a great passing rates which is like an 86% and couldn’t teach this year because of our principal. D: Anyways. How is everyone?

@Kysanx‌ Good luck! I could never take more than one AP History class… but I have heard that AP World is much easier than AP USH so… Do you enjoy history?
I am great! and you? I am really excited about this STEM school I want to go to Junior and Senior year. Any plans for summer break?

What are you guys doing over the summer?

@tomatox1‌ Doing the COSMOS summer program hopefully!

My dad’s family is visiting from their state, and I haven’t seen them in soooo long so it’s going to be tons of fun. I also want to do a summer job and start learning how to drive, but nothing’s set in stone yet.

I need an opinion from you guys. Over the past few weeks in physics we were studying light and color, the test was yesterday and after studying for 2 hours I looked for a practice test that I could apply my knowledge in order to prepare. When I took the actual test in class, 90% of the questions were the exact same as the one I took online. Not only that, the source of the practice test contained all the tests I had taken and will take (presumably from the book we use). Is this considered cheating and should I continue to use my source for the rest of the year? What would you do?

@apandia‌
It’s not cheating.

@SwaggyC‌ - Is it bad if I continue to use it? There are no higher levels of physics in my school other than Honors Physics, so I can’t really apply it anywhere else?
