My honors classes are a joke except for honors spanish 3. I love my spanish teacher because she is the first real spanish teacher I have had and I am actually learning.
My grades for the first quarter were really good and this was by far one of the toughest periods of my fifteen year life lol. For the first few weeks I would come home from cross country, eat dinner, play piano for an hour and then finally get started on homework at 9, almost crying. I remember a few nights going to bed past 1 and I seriously missed freshman year. I really thought I wasn’t going to make it but I did.
AP world (aka hellacious work but my favorite subject) - A+
Religion- A+
English 2honors- A+
Alg2 honors- A+
Chemistry honors- A+
Ap human geo- A
Spanish 3 Honors- A
(My school doesnt have A+, but i think the regular cut off is a 97)

Hey guys! I think I’m gonna start becoming active on here.
Anyways how’s everyone doing. The 1st marking period ends for me very soon, so I’m in full crunch mode.

Am I the only one who struggles in the 'easier" classes? Last year I got straight A’s in AP Bio and AP Calc, yet I got 2 B’s in Art! This year follows the same trend, this time with health. I find it very annoying

I tend to make dumb mistakes and get Bs in classes that I consider easy (but others think are hard, I dunno). And then cry because I had, like, an 89.6 and it wasn’t rounded up (story of my life with English last year; but right now I have a 95 in English, and I hope it’ll stay that way).

Hahah wow, our school rounds up from .5

For our school, it depends on the course. The Math department rounds up, the English department doesn’t (unless the teacher implements a curve such that, say, an 88 is an A, as is the case in some AP Lit classes). Langauges generally do; for science it depends on the teacher.

I should probably study for my history test; it’s on 3 chapters and I’ve barely touched the book all quarter (somehow, I’ve managed to ace all the quizzes, though).

Same goes for my english, spark notes FTW

@topaz1116 I know, right? At the end of every term for me there’s always this one class that I neglect and don’t study for because I think it’s easy, and it becomes in danger of dropping to a B during finals.

@1whatsmyname1 SparkNotes is banned in my English class.

@Greninja How can they tell? and you have like Shmoop and stuff like that as well.
Honors English is by far my hardest class :/

@livelaugh7 My teachers can tell whether you used the site or not, since they’re very familiar with the sites themselves.

@Greninja Well, I have a 98% in that class, so I think I have a bit of a cushion.

Note: a bit.

We’ve only had quizzes so far, so their point value isn’t very high.

my school is small and we can only take AP classes Junior year so i have been taking honors classes sine 6th grade and they are way to easy for me.

I think I’m going to get a B+ in Honors Precalc unless I don’t get an 100% on out last quiz. IF I Get below a 96, I’m going to have a BUGH GAHHHHHH

Payback for not trying on our first two quizzes

Yayyy, here’s my grades for the grading period:

<a href=“Screenshot - 29c60377cfb4ed4bfbd7c58bc41343d3 - Gyazo”>http://gyazo.com/29c60377cfb4ed4bfbd7c58bc41343d3

Was sorta worried about chemistry. No one told me we had to have the lab journal prepared and the tests are hard. x_x

On the bright side, guys:

Quarter grades don’t matter! Just bring 'em up for second semester.

@linder99 My school doesn’t offer (most) APs until Junior year for the opposite reason–people tend to take too many APs (AP Chinese and AP Stats (if you’re in Honors Precalc) are available to sophomores, but not many people take them). We’re a really big school.

No, I got a B on my AP Chemistry midterm! I hope no one asks me what I got on Monday because it’s a little embarrassing. My AP Chemistry class has many smart people in it and I bet they all got high grades.

I’m now 5th in my Precalc class, which is well into the top 40%. But I need to make sure I ace the midterm, since it’s worth 2 tests in addition to the fact that it can replace any tests for which you got a lower grade on them than you got on the midterm.

Or at least get above a 90%. That would be fine too.

So, my photo grade is now my lowest :(

dumb 76% brought me down to a solid 87 …

I reallllyyyy hope I can get my PreCalc grade up to a B+. It, and my APUSH grade, will be my only Bs. It’s disappointing.

Does anyone else here go to a small school where the drama is real??? Seriously everyone hate each other… and when someone finds out something bad about someone, it spreads like wildfire.
