<p>So I had a pretty rough eighth grade. I got a c first semester, and a D second semester! Horrible teacher, plus I had moved to a new city that year.I was very lonely and self reserved that year, and I didn't feel like myself that year. Towards the end of the year though, I started feeling better about my selr, and I kind of came outof thistight shell that I was trapped in. I had straight A's in all my other classes that year, which pushed my gpa to about 3.6 for eighth grade. I then proceeded to take geometry at the community college over the summer, and got an easy A (98%)! I want to know how these grades affect my college admissions. Before and after that class, I had never gotten below an A.. ever! I was really shocked at how poorly I had done in that class because many of nmy teachers considered me Ivy potential. <p>Do you think my middle school grades will affect my chances at top tier universities? I would love to hear you guys chance me at some potential colleges: Stanford, UPenn, Yale Harvard, Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UMich, MIT and Duke</p>
