Hello, everyone!

I have a few questions concerning my schedule. I am going into my sophomore year, and I'm already thinking about College. I am a resident of North Carolina. I am mostly interested in in-state schools because of reduced tuition. I am open to out-of-state schools such as the College of Charleston. I am especially interested in its Honors Program, which is one of my top picks. I am also considering North Carolina State University and Wake Forest University.

I have a 4.5 Weighted GPA and a 4.0 Unweighted GPA.
I believe I am ninth out of 474 in my class.

My Freshman year schedule is as follows:

First Semester
Band I - 100
Computer Applications - 100
Biology Honors - 99
English I Honors - 96

Second Semester
Band I - 100
Civics and Economics Honors - 100
Health/Gym - 100
Geometry Honors - 98

I did not have any extracurriculars this year, and I understand that was a mistake. I wanted to give myself room to adjust to High School when in actuality it was not as difficult as it was perceived.

As of Sophomore year, though, I plan on amping up everything a bit. I will be taking AP World History, which is two semesters long; Honors Chem; Honors English II; Honors Band III, which shows a dedication to music as I was able to skip the second course; Honors Algebra II; and French I . My counselor said Sophomores cannot take anymore than one, but later I discovered a small few cheated the system and ended up taking two or three. I am doing "Football Band," which is Marching Band without competitions because on the weekends I am volunteering at an Animal Shelter and Veterinary Hospital. I am a Student Council Representative, and I plan on starting my own Animal Welfare Club this year. Joining my school's Keywanettes Club is also an interest of mine.

I would love to know if I am on track for the colleges I listed. During my Freshman year, I had to get a lot of requirements out of the way. Thank you for your advice.
