Hello, I've got a question about High school credits. Right now I'm going to have 23 Credits before junior year & the required credits is 24. The question is what is going to happen to the additional credits for the next two years? Also I want to state that I need 2 English credits, .5 credits for U.S Gov & Economics & 1 credit U.S History. Can someone tell me what do the roll over credits do to me.

OK, first thing: for a question about how things work at your high school, you should ask someone at your high school. I don’t know what state you live in, let alone where you go to high school. (And for heaven’s sake, don’t just come right out and tell me, right out here in public on the Internet.) But because I don’t know where you go to school, I can only guess at the answer.

But here’s what I do know: my own daughter graduated from high school with way more credits than it takes to graduate, and so did virtually everybody in her class. What happens to those additional credits? Nothing. What did they do to people? Nothing. The graduation requirements were minimum standards, not maximums.

Most students graduate with way more than the minimum credits and nothing happens to them unless you took APs and can get credit at your college.
