Okay I'm a sophomore & it's my first year taking AP classes. I'm taking two AP classes: AP Euro and AP Art History. I'm also taking Chemistry, English Honors, Math Analysis, Spanish 2. I've NEVER in my life brought home anything under a 4.0 GPA. especially this year when I have AP classes and I expect myself to get 4.3. How do you guys think I'm doing so for? Here are my grades

Spanish 2 --> 89.4%
English H. --> 92%
Ap Art History --> 87.94%
Chemistry --> 91%
Ap Euro --> 94%
math Analysis --> 88.33%

-----------------------------------> 3.8 GPA

Okay it's only been the first triad, meaning I still have until January until my grades are official! What do you guys think.... All my grades are borderlining! Do you guys think my final GPA will be a 4.3? Any experiences? Truth? Pleaaaaase I need an answer I'm stresses

Pleaaaase answer me! I need someone’s opinion! And tell me D:

Stop worrying so much, a lot can change in a few days, let alone a few months. It’s early in the year, your grades will fluctuate due to lack of assignments in the grade book. Chill out, you’ll be fine.

Would it be hard to bring my B’s up? I’m so scared so calming down is not my definition. Have you experience this?

I’ve experienced stress over grades, but I’ve learned that there’s more to high school than grades. You’ll be able to pull your Bs up if you continue to get good grades on classwork and tests. But seriously, find a hobby or a club you’re interested in to keep yourself from stressing so much.

Clubs and hobbies would male me stress even more! Considering I don’t have time to do my million essays and reading to do. Do you think it’s possible? Or only if miracle exists “kinda thing” tell me the truth. I can handle it :)

Shut up, get off CC and go do your work. Honestly I had terrible grades Freshman and half of Sophomore year. You’ll figure yourself out, honestly it comes with time. Not everything is going to come easily to you, when you hit AP Calc you start to realize that you don’t just “get good grades because it’s possible.” There’s a reason why only the very most academic elite, not everyone attend top colleges.

Actually, please tell me you’re trolling right now, honestly

I’m not “trolling”! I’m serious…

@ unclebadass
I’ve never thought how possible it is, until I’ve hit this year. You’re right things just don’t come easy anymore… it’s so hard I’m about to cry. I really wanted a 4.3 this triad too… DEDICATION here I come!

Anymore suggestions? Experiences? Hope? Lol

Okay, you need to calm down. Study and do what you can. If you don’t get a 4.3, at least you did your best. A 3.8 is really not bad at all. And you definitely should join a club or something, because colleges won’t accept you just because you got a 4.3 or whatever, especially considering you’re not even getting that 4.3…

Once again, another person freaking out about a couple "B+"s when the quarter/semester isn’t even close to being over.

You’re a simple sophomore. Stop worrying. As long as you get a good enough GPA (A- at the least, or if you want to be average a B could work…) then you’ll be fine. Worry about this stuff at the end of junior year :)

By the way, I am in clubs.
