<p>I am a freshman in high school and want to become an engineer. What are some extra-curriculars in high school that I can participate in to gain engineering experience while strengthening my college applications?</p>
<p>My school has an Engineers Without Borders club, and we do projects and build stuff. 
If your school has that or something similar you should join it! You can also get involved in bridgebuilding (etc) competitions through project lead the way. Hope that helps!</p>

<p>Technology Student Association, math clubs/competitions, science clubs/competitions</p>
<p>Basically, anything STEM related</p>
<p>I do FIRST Robotics, programming on my own and that is pretty much it…</p>
