Don't limit yourself to Ivies- there are other great medical schools out there as well. Since you are only a freshman, you might want other things later- like a great sports program, a winning debate team, etc. Harvard and Princeton are not your only choice.

Please do yourself a favor and leave CC now. You honestly don't need to research colleges until the spring of your sophomore year.

I'm actually going into sophmore year. I posted because I have seen people on here with their amazing EC's and I was just afraid that if I don't get up to their level then I won't get into a good college. I mean a really good college because I believe I should be able to.

Sorry if you thought that my posting was bad. I was just thinking ahead.

try and be smart at everytihng you do and you'll succeed

also - make sure you have friends and a social life, those are more valuable than getting into a top 10something college. when you do apply to colleges, apply everywhere you want, you'll never know where you'll end up. but until then, have fun

do not listen to these people. if u like the site, feel free to stay on CC. This site is not just for HS juniors and seniors, and if you are interested in getting a headstart in the process, thats fine. Freshman are people too!!!! lol Just because freshman are on the site does not mean they're not out having fun also. Let us choose whether we wanna be on CC. I enjoy the site, and I am only an incoming freshman.

freshman arent people... what are you talking about?
JK
but seriously, don't ask anyone to evaluate your chances. go out to a party. make some friends. come back in a few years.
