<p>I didn't know you could read recommendation letters. I thought they were sealed?? I even heard something about people being able to write their own recommendations--is this real? It makes no sense. Of course you'd have nothing but good stuff to say about yourself if you did. And something about coaching references. If you have to coach them one yourself, what are they--strangers you met five minutes ago??</p>
