<p>Right now I'm interning for my local Democratic Committee. I've been helping out in caucuses, primaries, debates, etc. and am very interested in politics. I was wondering how "Strong" of an internship this really is on an application. I'm truly doing it because I enjoy it, but I am curious as to how it will look. The Chair of the committee has offered several times to write me a great LOR whenever I begin to fill out Applications so take that into consideration. I plan to major in International Relations or Political Science. Thanks!</p>

<p>The best thing I can say is be outgoing and attend those types of events ready to help before you have a "formal" internship.</p>
