Where can high school students look for internships? I've tried the links on college board but they don't really help.

your parents, your parent’s friends, and your friend’s parents.

unless you’re a senior in high school it’ll be pretty much impossible to find one except in the scenarios hj0519 mentioned (i.e. you have contacts). Most internships require the interns to be either enrolled in college or currently in college/grad school for summer jobs.

That said, I would just search around, companies in your area that might be looking for summer help or google even (it’s how I found a few of mine)

Ask around!!! A business teacher at my school knew a local accountant who was looking for some help and I jumped on the position. It’s really all about connections in high school.

I desperately want to know as well.

Erm I beg to differ with AwesomeOpposum (btw. love your name
i’'m a junior in high school and I have two internships, one at the federal district courthouse and one at our state capitol. so noo…it’s definitely possible…you just have to be proactive and look around!
