^words of wisdom. thank you college316.

Is this a long verbose ■■■?

haha i feel ya. Well its high school and I disagree with the cute/nerdy thing. they do exist. You just haven’t met them. and if you put it that way, well I haven’t met a hot nerd yet, but I know they exist. wait for college dude. You’ll love it there. and Cornell FTW!

Trust me Quantum Arbiter, its your school thats bringing you down, not yourself. Im in the same situation actually. Last year, I went to a renowned top international school and befriended some of the most intelligent kids I ever met (future ivy leaguers i bet). I used to party every friday and saturday with the best of them! Now, I attend a crap school in England where a student’s idea of fun is getting blazed by themselves. Now, I focus on my studies and hanging out with my family since I didn’t do that much when I was out every day of the weekend! If you have the grades to get in the top schools you applied for and actually get accepted to them, Im sure your bound to meet mature, fun, easy-going people that was non-existent in your ‘ghetto’ school

Interesting…

In my opinion, one crucial social difference between high school and college is the absence of “parents” to watch over everything we say or do.

For example, if you’re in high school and you ask a random girl out on a date, you’ll probably have to explain the entire situation to your parents later on. I think, personally, that that is a primary deterrent for us to break out of our comfort zones; to venture out into the realm of the unknown.

But in college, we have to assume responsibility for our actions, a double edged sword, if I may say so. We will probably begin to rely on our friends for advice a lot more and be forced to think for ourselves.

But who knows? Above all, remember to be optimistic. Optimism has helped me through many difficult situations.

Your elitism is unfounded, you are probably just socially inept and your grammar sucks. So shut the **** up.

^ Have you ever been to a ‘ghetto’ school?
