I'm going to be an incoming junior in the fall, and I'm not sure if it's already too early to decide, but I want to major and become a psychologist; I've always wanted to be a psychologist for a while now.

So this may seem like a dumb question, but what high school courses do you guys suggest for me to get ready at becoming a psychologist? I already know psychology/AP psych and statistics play a part.

Would taking any AP science courses like Chem and Physics be great as well?

I would try anatomy/physiology, sociology biology and maybe chem

Take a course where you write essays and research papers such as English as well.

Would AP Language and Composition be a great choice for an English course? Because I’m going to be taking that class next school year…

I heard that there’s a lot of writing and essays in AP Lang and Comp. research essays would probably be more along the lines of history.

writing essays and research papers seems important no matter what you want to pursue though. it’s not specific to psychology
