Need help deciding AP courses

Hey, I'm new to this website and don't know if this is the wrong place to post but here goes: I'm a sophomore now and currently at my school we are starting course selection for next year. I'm have trouble deciding which combination of AP courses to take. I already signed up for AP English so that's a given. I can take one course over the summer which would free up a class period of "set" next year. for example, if I took honors physics over the summer I could either not take a science next year or take AP bio or chem. Besides English, my options are AP u.s. history, AP chem (if I take physics over the summer), AP physics, and AP psychology (in addition to English). I want to take around 3 APs total. I am in all honors classes now with all A's, I know how rigorous the work load will be and I'm prepared to give up the majority of my free time. I want to go into finance and I know math is important for that but do to the current course I'm in I can't take any math APs until ap stat in senior year. If anyone could give me some advice on what AP classes go well together or tips in general it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

APUSH is an important AP class to take, I’d suggest AP Physics over AP Chem (I’m in both, and believe me, physics is so much more interesting), and AP Psychology is a very easy class. I’d recommend you take those three classes with, of course, AP English.

thanks… that’s along the lines of what I was thinking. How does the workload compare to sophomore honors classes? I know it varies greatly from teacher-to-teacher, school-to-school, but in general.

As a general rule, APs at my school have a bit more work than honors courses–especially more busywork. But if you can stay on top of the extra hours of work, the actual brain power/critical thinking skills required are not that much harder.
