High School Resume/CV Tips?

Hi Everyone! I am currently needing to make a resume/CV of my high school everything including in school and out of school activities for both my guidance counselor and uploading into college CommonApp Portals. I was wondering:

  1. how should I format one? I am looking online and getting overwhelmed by the school resumes and work resumes.
  2. Are there any templates (free and easily downloadable) sites I can use? I keep on getting clickbait or using templates where I can not edit but only put in information.

Any help is super appreciated! Thank you all!

Do you have Naviance through your school? It creates a resume.

Hi! Yes! My school uses Naviance, but my counselor would like a pdf version, like a professional resume look.

Your counselor should provide template.

My kids built their resumes in Naviance and saved in Naviance as pdf. The high school guidance counselor accessed online.
Sometimes my kids would cut and paste into Word document.
You can manually format a document in Microsoft Word to have margins, fonts, text size, etc.
Or you can use a Word template for a resume. Some are built in Word or available for free download from Office.com
For example see

I recommend you to make it simple and easy to read. Your employer will be interested in quite short and informative resume. They have a minimal amount of time to review your resume, so readability is key.
