High SChool senior seeks help

ok right now i am a high school senior and will go to a local university
i will start in the summer so by jan i will have 30 credit hours ??? i was hoping to transfer to LMU , Occidental , USC or UCLA what type of grades should i have and also should i retake my ACT (again ) i got a 21 twice and should i take the SAT since i guess after a year they will still look at that and while i am it should i take some SAT subject tests ??
can anyone offer me any advice as to what to do
i would like to transfer into these schools theatre departments
also i will need scholarship money
are scholarships open to transfers ?
thanks for all your help

you should go to a CCC for the best chance at UCLA. There are a lot of Cali kids on here doing what you plan on doing, so they can help more. I hear the TAP program + high GPA will basically guarantee you admittance to the school, but I dunno about the theatre program.

i would first apply to those schools....you never know, you might get in! If you do get in, obviously it will make your life much much easier. Its difficult to enter college with plans to transfer, but if you have legitimate reasons (poor grades, no way to pay for a big school yet, ect) then i agree with brand, go to a CCC. Look for the other school's core requirements (since you're doing a LA degree, you probably will need the basic math/science/english/history/ect covered). And most academic scholarships are open to transfers, if not, after one year completed at that college. Need-based varies school to school, year to year is my understanding. And I would take the SAT, just because you might do very well.
Good luck!
