I'm concerned with one thing when I go into community college if its going to happen. I took two summer classes at community college during high school. One class was an A and one was a D. With only these two grades, I'd rather wipe these out. So when I start, will they wipe those two grades in? I can't risk starting badly just because of one bad grade from summer during sophomore year at high school. And I had problems with that class due to technical issues from Blackboard and there was nothing to do about it

unfortunately you cannot remove grades from your record, however you can get an academic renewal since you took the course 2 years ago during sophomore year. luckily you got a D and you can only get renewals for failed courses. and a D is fail i believe. talk to a counselor and they can arrange an academic renewal for you.

basically your A will stay, and you will get a Z for your D. schools will see a Z and know that you got an academic renewal.

Also, depending on your CC, you may be able to get the D exempt, and the transcript would show an E.

I have a friend who took a CC English course during one high school summer and got a D, but he was able to get it exempt, and his transcript shows an E. Ever since, he’s gotten all A’s so he has a 4.0.

Long story short: talk to a counselor (or the transfer center if your CC has one).
