High school transcripts-how important?

Hey guys,

I am an international student and was not aware that I had to sent in all my grades from 9th grade on. It is a lot of work because I have to get them all translated and certified, so I asked Brown if I could just send in my grades from junior and senior year because in Germany, we only collect credits during those to years.
Most schools I applied to said they need grades from all 4 years. Brown, however, says they would accept the grades of only two years and a grade report from the time I was an exchange student in California. (I managed to get them all translated and send them all transcripts, however). So you guys think that is something good or bad? I wrote to the generall admission email and they looked up my file before relplying. Could requiring only transcripts from 11th and 12th grade mean they have already rejected me and won’t need the other ones anyway? Or am I being to paranoid?

Thank you :)

You have to take it at face value. If they wanted all of them in order to be able to admit you, they would tell you that.

Thanks BrownParent. Yeah I thought I might be overthinking this a bit.
