Hi everyone,

I'm currently a high school junior. I plan on apply to Cal State Fullerton as a Economics major this fall.

I was just wondering if credits taken at a community college would transfer over into my major when I graduate high school.

I had already looked up the transfer policies for CSUF, but I could not find any particular answer for my situation. Does anyone know? Since I'm an economics major, is economics at a community college technically an 'upper division course'?

You won’t be a transfer applicant, this term applies only to attending one college and changing to another; you’re a fr applicant with CC credits. If the CSUF website doesn’t talk about credit for CC courses taken in HS, give them a call and find out what their policy is. CC courses are generally lower division.

Transferable community college courses are considered lower division courses.

To see what community college courses transfer and what their equivalents at CSU Fullerton (or any CSU or UC) are, you can try [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) .

Thanks for the response guys. I called articulation at CSUF and they said I would be fine. Thanks a ton guys! This would have been a lot more helpful had I known this a tad earlier :o
