I’m currently in 10th grade and I’m planning to take precalculus over the summer of 11th grade so I can go straight into AP calculus AB in senior year. Is this a smart choice? I was thinking that if I do want to take precalculus over the summer, I could use Khan Academy’s precalculus course and my Precalculus for Dummies book I already have. If I don’t take precalculus over the summer I would have to take a year of honors precalculus in senior year.
If you feel you can learn everything that you need to know for Calculus then go for it
