High scores to low scores in math?

About a month ago I was getting 700+ on the math section, and now I'm starting to go down. It's really frustrating and i feel as though I can't pay attention to the detail as much as I used to. I keep practicing but it doesn't help. Has anybody else had this problem? I'm taking the test this saturday and want to maintain those original high scores

Well, it depends on why you’re getting the questions wrong. Judging from your post, it seems like they result from careless errors. I used to have the same problem. I got over it somewhat by focusing on the problem by UNDERLINING the key points of the problem and CIRCLING what the question asks me to find. This helps me stay on track and find the answer that the question is asking for.

If you are not sure about a question, skip it. If you dwell to long on it, you will run out of time for questions that you may have been able to solve easily.

And the usual, double check your work, make sure you put a negative, make sure you calculated 2*3 correctly, etc.

Sorry if some of the advice is irrelevant. I just wanted to share some advice that helped me because I was in the same situation not too long ago.

Just relax a little bit and it will come. Nervousness and frustration can also affect your scores (more than you would think).

Cheer up!
