When does Ball State send out their decisions. Do they make calls?

A friend posted an acceptance on Facebook this evening - I’m assuming that might mean either a phone call or email (unless he was just getting to Saturday’s mail this evening.)

They made some calls today - not sure if they made all of them. Good luck to all who are waiting!

I did a walk-in for ball state at unifieds, and I didn’t really know anything about the program. I’ve been accepted, so now I’m wondering…can anyone give me info to help me make a decision? Maybe someone who is an MT major there now, what made you choose ball state over other schools you auditioned for?

We have heard really good things about the musical theatre program at Ball State. The students seem to be really happy there. Still waiting to hear decision. Is anyone else still waiting?

My D is also waiting to hear. She auditioned at LA Unifieds. If she is fortunate enough to be accepted we will plan a visit over her spring break.

Good luck to all who are waiting!

Is anyone else still waiting to hear???

We are still waiting…and hoping…

My D also auditioned at the LA Unifieds. She got a call last week that she is on the wait list, but the call was quite encouraging - she was told she was really high on the list! Ball State is the only school she REALLY wants to attend. When we visited last year, she felt immediately at home. So we’re hoping lots of other people choose other schools :). The waiting is maddening - she was told we would know for sure mid-April. It will be hard to keep fingers crossed for another month. Good luck to everyone!!

Hey guys,

Letters are being sent out this week, determining if your student has been accepted into the AO or MTO option. If they have not been accepted into either of these, they still have the opportunity to come to Ball State as a Theatrical Studies Major, and re-audition for the program in November, 2010. As a Theatrical Studies Major, your first semester will still include Acting 1, Aesthetics 1, etc…
