highschool gpa question

3.07 freshman year :/
3.86 freshman
4.0 junior and senior

decent extracurriculars, volunteer at a hospital, and i havent taken my sat yet but i suspect to get good-great scores.

what are my chances for a decent college (not ivy just a good state school) based on those..
will colleges notice my improvement from freshman year

Colleges very much enjoy upward trends. Also, some school do not even look at Freshman year, especially California schools, so I don’t think you have much to worry about sir. :D

i’m sorry to barge in but i have pretty much the same question
my gpa is going to be about
3.75 freshman year
3.6 sophomore year
3.75 junior year
3.8 senior year (hopefully)
would colleges look mostly at my grades in the first half of senior year if my grades significantly improve? or will they look at my grades overall including sophomore year where i got a stupid B

as to your question…i don’t know what level those classes are
if those are AP classes you’re set for most schools i think, if they’re honors good chance, if they’re standard…take honors or AP
