basically i have a passion for being a doctor and being involved in the medicine world, however, my location does not allow me to pursure many things. I have founded a club relating to medicine which ii dedicate myself to and i also volunteer at a hospital, but aside from that, I cannot find any research or internship opportunities.

As sad as it may seem, colleges will prefer to have undergrads who have done internships and research despite applicants who did not have opportunities and did not do intership/research work.

What can I do to show my passion for medicine, where can i look for intership/research related to medicine, and how can I stand out despite my limited opportunities?

i have to get a ride/bus 20 min away from my town to volunteer @ a hospital.....

Just to let you know, any activity you did in high school is useless when applying to medical school unless you have continued it on into college. It's good that you are volunteering and you should continue to do so. As far as research, I didn't know one person in my high school class, of over 900 kids, who did any research while in high school(I graduated c/o 2004). If I was a prof. I would more than likely never take a kid from high school to do research since most lack maturity and would more than likely have no idea what they were doing even with simple techniques like pcr. When you get to college get to know your professors and ask them if they need any help in their lab or if they know anyone else that needs some help. Get your foot in the door and opportunities will open up to you. However, research is not required for admission to medical schools, and you may find out that you hate it(like I found out).

you're in high school.....volunteering at the hospital is enough. once you're in college, you can worry about research and more involved clinical experiences.
