Hillel Thread

Since there is already an awesome thread titled http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/931514-colleges-jewish-b-student.html , I thought why not make a seperate thread specific discussing the Hillels on various college campuses.

Universities/Colleges with the most active Hillels and Universities that just have Jewish students and not super active Hillels.

Because there is a difference. There are a lot of college students raised Jewish who pretty much take it for granted and are not religious or culturally proud, whereas others see a strong Jewish community on their college campus as something of great importance.

So, other than obviously the active Hillels at Ivies and New york (hahaha), where are some other places that have fairly active to very active Jewish communities? Also, which colleges boast having a Jewish population but really have no community?

Personally, I wanted to ask about schools like UMBC, Towson, Virginia Tech, Rider University, Goucher, and UMCP (although I know they have a large Jewish population because a large percentage of my high school goes there :b )

According to a study about Jewish percentages on major college campuses, the most Jewish campuses in the US are Yeshiva, Brandeis, Tulane, SUNY Binghamton, and then the Ivies. So I would assume those schools would have pretty active and large Hillels.
