Hindsight is 20/20 help!

Hey there, ill make a long, long story as short as i can.

I graduated Highschool last year (with Honors), and was accepted into all the Cal States that i applied to. I was set and planning on CSU Fullerton, however do to an unforeseen and unfortunate family predicament (illness&surgery of family member) priorities made me unable to attend CSUF as planned for that Fall 0'9 term.

Conveniently, there is a Community College merely minutes away from me, so i unwisely figured i would enroll and take a few classes and get some units done while handling the family issues. bad move right. I didnt realize once i had taken classes at the CC i'd be ****ed for trying to reapply and go to CSUF the following semester. NOW, i have emailed CSUF Admin. and was told that since i attended the CC i must complete 60 transferable units (upper division transfer). However, ive also read information where IF i was PREVIOUSLY accepted to the CSUF, and currently have UNDER 30 units (at CC) that BOTH my Highscool and college information would be considered together (instead of all HS for freshman or all college for UD transfer). So i have gotten some different information.

Additionally, just to convolute the situation more, i didnt take my subject tests in HS and did not apply for any UC's. Is there a way i can take my SUBJECT TESTS now that ive already graduated HS and apply and transfer, or do i have to do the transfer as Upper Division only route?

Like i said, hindsight is always 20/20 and although there were things that i had no control of, i wish i would have done some things different. Any info, insight, and advice would be greatly appreciated!
