Hire moving help for apt. to CVL storage move

Can anyone recommend any local moving company that would move me from one apt. to a storage facility? I've got some big items and will need professional assistance in this move. I tried searching it, but didn't come up with anything useful.
thanks

I know you know some burly college boys…pizza/beer/5 bucks will get you pretty darn far.

If you really need the pros…

Thanks Shoebox,
I did get that far on my own, I guess what I was really looking for was someone who had first hand experience with a company and could vouch for 'em. It shouldn’t be too difficult to find, but with classes finishing and exams, whew, >>>under pressure ;-)

I have heard positive things about the Student Services moving company, but don’t have first hand experience with them.

My daughter is using Team Logistics, [Team Logistics, LLC](http://www.summerstorage.com). They were less expensive than the Student Services Company. Their price they gave us also includes storage for the summer and they will pick up and deliver. It is costing us about $640 for the service. It was going to cost about $940 from Student Services including the additional monthly charge for storage for the summer. She has a friend that used them. This will be our first experience with them however.

Thanks for the options, I think I might already be on the road to having something lined up. I appreciate it!

My best friend at UVA worked for Student Services for two summers in Cville, they seemed a fair operation with decent prices, though if you can find something cheaper as the poster above suggested you can also do that.

But why you wouldn’t just recruit friends to help you and pay them with beer/food is beyond me. Worked twice for me when I moved as a student in Cville.

Thanks, man, I wish I could just recruit friends, but most that I know are taking off real soon after completing finals, and I finish a little earlier too. Also, I have real heavy furniture, like a big dresser, couch and stuff. Since I’m going home, OOS, for the summer, I’ve gotta store this stuff somewhere for use next fall. It’s complicated.

i used student services and will be using them again - they’re reeeeally great and fast. plus they’re right next to the self storage place.

Student Services Moving Co. were fantastic! I highly recommend them to others and they are reasonably priced.
