I applied to the HSF under the pretense that they were merit/ethnic based scholarships. My parents' income is too high (~330k/yr with 15k total in college savings) to receive any need-based aid. I applied to 10 schools (UNC, UMich, UVA, Duke, Wake Forest, Rice, Duke, Miami FL, Penn, Stanford, NC State) and didn't indicate on my applications that I would apply for need based aid. From what I've searched, none of them require me to submit FAFSA/CSS Profile to be eligible for merit scholarships (correct me if I'm wrong). However, HSF requires that I complete the FAFSA.

I'd like to know how exactly I get the HSF to receive my FAFSA seeing as they aren't a school.
If it's possible to add them onto my FAFSA and I'm already completing it, should I send it to 9 schools and the HSF? If so I would leave out NC state, my financial and academic safety.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
