Hi,
Quick question about a Stanford short answer. One of them says, “What historical moment or event do you wish you could have witnessed?” Are we supposed to list several, or mention one and expand a bit on it?
It does have a 50 word limit…
Thanks!

For mine last year, I simply listed a bunch of events.
Based on my reading of other people’s experiences, I think that Stanford will rarely ever penalize you for approaching the question in a certain way. You should do what feels most natural to you; if there is a specific moment you wish to have witnessed, talk about it briefly (I feel you – 50 words), but you can also list some like weizhong did.
My ds listed one with a short explanation as to why. Probably didn’t use up the word count.
The question reads to me like they are looking for a single moment. An explanation would be a good idea.
