Historical Moment.

Aren’t most historical moments controversial? What if I cite an event that may annoy the admission officer?

Also, could I list something recent that I couldn’t witness because I was abroad then? Could “you wish you have witnessed” refer to not having witnessed it because of spacial separation rather than time separation?

Your question is so nebulous I don’t know how anyone could give you a response that would be meaningful. Do what you think is best.

My DD wrote about seeing a famous, influential dancer perform from the 1940s who has long since passed…

It can be anything historic or contemporary, artistic, scientific, personal, professional.

I personally would have said Woodstock, but I date myself. My DD did something similar to @kath00’s.

Historical literally means anything in the past, it doesn’t have to be the day Jesus Christ walked on water or anything that substantial. I said I wanted to witness the opening show of one of my favorite musicals in the 70’s.

Yeah man, literally anything. I got in, and I said I wanted to see the signing of the Interstate Highways Act, simply to match my key personality trait in my application that I was a big geography buff and roadgeek for fun.
