Does anyone know how grading in Ruiz's GE history classes works?
Not as in the breakdown of what percentage is based off of discussions, midterm, essay, final, etc... but like how lenient he is with grades?

I mean, this class really seems like a bunch of crap. I would have gotten maybe 10% on the upcoming midterm if he hadn't given us the questions beforehand.

Does anyone know how he grades? I'm really debating taking this class pass/no pass.

He’s a very caring professor, extremely lenient, and wants to give everyone A’s. Just do your best, if you cant handle Ruiz’s class, then I dont know how you’re gonna manage other classes.

I’ve gone to every class and did the quizzes and all that stuff, it’s just that the class seems whack. I mean, I think it’s just the fact that we are “breezing” over everything because we are supposed to compress thousands if not millions of years of history into 20 classes

@sid3000: hahahhaha I heard about her… and how everyone wants to punch her in the face.

anyways, teo is one of my favorite professors at UCLA. he really does want you to get an A (also depends on your TA)… overall, don’t sweat, he’s an awesome teacher.
