easy GEs

Hey so im looking for an EASY ge to take. Anyone have any thoughts/comments about History 1A? How easy would you say it is?

I would take the Ruiz class (2C i think) but its all full.. :(

2C, Southeast Asian 1, History 9E

hmm do you think I'd need to have a great interest in South East Asia to do well in the class? I've never really learned about the history from that region of the world.

What was your experience with 1A

1A is boring. Philips is monotonous, and condescending. Wouldn't take it. 1A sucks!

No, just do your work.

which is the easiest History 13 series?? I need it for american history requirement

took 13c with gantner; great exp also 20th century amer history is... just v. recent

isn't there a lot to cover in 20th century history?? how detail of each event do they go into?? Is there vietnam war?

Well, yeah! But the last 40-50 years should be easy! Plus, how many times have you learned about World War I, Great Depression, World War II, Cold War, and Vietnam War?! One too many!

astro 3 is a breeze

how is hist. of rock and roll?

how is history 9e?

did you try bruinwalk.com?
look up the professor and in the comments people list the class they took...how easy/interesting it was etc

same login info as myucla

my orientation counselor said not to rely on bruinwalk.com

don't rely on it, esp not the really old posts and DEFINITELY not the number scale at the top of the page...that is confusing and misleading

but it is a good reference, and the best one out there...as far as organizing all that information in one place, and read the comment/reviews...not just the numbers

at this time, ucla doesnt publish the student reviews of classes (which we have to do every quarter anyways)

for bruinwalk i would recommend skimming through the list of reviews for a professor, and then you can come to a pretty accurate conclusion about the professor/class
you are likely to see a horrible review and a rave review for the same professor, just pay attention to the reasons why they give a positive or negative review and what class and year they had that professor

it has been pretty useful/accurate for me so far
