<p>Does anyone know how the History Department is at UCI? I'm almost positive I won't get into Berkeley (it would take a miracle...), and I don't want to go to SDSU (only other school I've been accepted to), so I don't think I really have much of a choice of programs, but I'm just wondering how it is.</p>
<p>The School of Humanities is really good as a whole. Not sure how history is. Any particular aspect of history that you're going in to?</p>
<p>I'm not sure which area of history I'd really like to specialize in, but I'm probably leaning towards either ancient history (Greco-Roman) or East Asian. I hate having to choose, but since I can't take ALL the history courses they offer...</p>
