History SAT II

Hey I'm taking the us history sat 2 in june and i'm really not that great at history (don't ask me why i'm taking it lol). I only have a month left and i haven't started studying yet so for those who has taken the history sat and used kaplan to review, does it cover the whole test? and also are there any sections (period in time) that i should focus more on or leave out? I just want to score a 700+ any advise?

o and also anyone know the real scale for the test? because the scale on sparknotes and kaplan is different (sparknotes has harsher scale) which one should i trust?

trust the harsher scale.
your score will always be < your expectations.
:]

I thought Kaplan was pretty good for US History.

^ ok ill go with the harsher scale lol but is 1 month enough to study for it? if so how much time should i spend per day average?

According to my Princeton Review book,
about an hour a day is enough. lol

^ heh ok but i procrastinate a lot, but yeah could u tell me the scale on the princeton review book? low raw score for a 800, 750, 700 and 650? it'd be great

anyone? ^ (10 char)

how is the SAT II US history test compared to the AP USH exam?

edit: in regards to difficulty of MC questions

123456789...

AKittka: If you're getting a 5 on the AP, you're going to do well on the SAT II. That's the general rule of thumb.

voodoo_santa: Get a practice test from the CB of it. See how you do. I have no idea about the scale in PR or any other review book. Try the real thing..and see if it's even worth taking it.

i used kaplan sat ii and princeton review ap.

personally, if you don't have a lot of time, PR is really good for big-picture
if you do have time to read it, kaplan is very good at tiny-picture details

ok thanks.

thx guys ^

i have barrons.

I liked my Sparknotes review - some of the questions were very similar to the real test
