Hm... Do we need another chances thread? Sure!

Looking around here, I have decided that there aren't nearly enough chances threads already, so I should have a moment of bad taste and create one all about me. I do so love being the centre of attention.

My college list is, for lack of a better word, average. Not exactly the most prestigious list, but I've seen worse, I suppose. They are, in no particular order:
Washington State University
Western Washington University
Eastern Washington University
Pacific Lutheran University

In keeping with the general format of the existing posts, I shall form a laundry list of my statistics:

Unweighted GPA: 3.714
Class Rank: 27th out of 298
SAT I: 1310 (740 Verbal, 570 Math)
ACT: 30
AP/Honors Classes: 6 AP & 2.5 Honors
AP Scores: Language/Comp: 5, World History & US History: 4
Activities: Chess Club (President, 4 years) German Club (Treasurer, 3 years) Knowledge Bowl (Co-Captain, Secretary, 2 years), Wind Ensemble (2.5 years, French Horn)
Sports/Community Service/Religious: None
Awards: Burns Federation Recitation Award, Academic Excellence Awards for German and History, Two Band Letters.
Minority Status: None

Well, that's a rather inauspicious list, isn't it?

So, what's the damage? Anyone reasonably optimistic about my chances?

Let the games begin...

I've never even heard of any of those colleges, and I think you have a shot at somewhere much better. Try finding some more matches or reaches; you're a good candidate.

In easily at all of them :p as long as you like them, there's no need to add more elite/prestigous schools

You're obviously from Washington State. I am too and my friends all have similar college lists. You are easily in at all of them. Why not try for University of Washington and Whitman? You have I high chance at both.

I was considering putting in an application for UW. I'm not sure if I will, though. Rather a long one, and time is very short this year. I tend to work myself half to death and then get to college and scholarship applications.

Whitman, I'm not even going to bother with. Rather a bit too far out of my price range, I fancy. All comes down to money in the end.

But anyway, thanks a bunch to everyone for their respective input.
