Is it suggested to buy a review book to go along with your AP class for maximum score? I would love to get all 5's on my next years AP courses

No, it’s recommended you buy several. For each test.

It all depends on which AP exams you’re taking, how well the teacher taught the class and how well you understand the material. If you think you know the material well, I’m sure you can find released AP multiple choice on the internet and you can use that to study. AP Central if also good for practicing for the written section. I took AP US Gov and bought a review book but that was just a waste. I just reviewed notes that teacher gave before the exam and I got a 5.

If you buy several, that’s going to be a lot of money wasted, especially if you know the subject well. If you really need a review book, you can just go to the library and borrow one, or you could ask a friend who took the course before you and ask to borrow theirs.

^^LOL. Prep books can be helpful, but just get one good book for each subject you think you’ll need help with.

Well i’m taking Calc AB, Chem, Bio, APUSH, and lang. What books are suggested?

For chem and bio use Princeton Review. As for the rest, I can’t say how good barrons/pr or any other review books are because I haven’t taken them or my school provided a review book/gave us a lot of practice.
