My daughter's plane arrives at Ontario Airport at 11:35am Apr 10 and departs at 7:50pm Apr 11. Anyone want to share a Supershuttle to Mudd &/or back to the airport?

Actually, I haven't purchased the tickets, but these are the earliest/latest flights from SJC non-stop.

My daughter is an athlete and has already done 2 'official' visits with Div I and Div II schools so she can navigate, but sharing a shuttle would be fun and save $$ too.

$21 each way for the first person, $9 each way for each additional person (up to 12) & plus tip, of course.

The local taxi service is about the same price as SuperShuttle for two people riding together. We like to use them because we’re supporting local entrepreneurs instead of a big anonymous company with so-so service (the cabbies lease their cars from the cab company and work as independent contractors). Most of them we’ve met have been very friendly and sincerely happy to see students. The yellow cab company’s number is 909-622-1313. A word of caution, you need to be very specific in identifying your pickup location - and keep your cell phone on in case they can’t find you.

Once your kiddo’s a Mudder, there will be very few times she’ll be paying for transport. My son always manages to find a friend who’ll drive him – payment usually rendered in chocolate, sparkling cider, or hugs. :)

There’s this thing they call “flexing out,” which is the weekly ritual of spending the week’s leftover flex dollars before they roll over. Chocolate is apparently one of the popular flex items. My son once brought home a box of Dove candy bars… I don’t know how he’s managed to lose weight this year at Mudd. :D
