Anyone used SuperShuttle to get to Airport ?

I may have to use the SuperShuttle to get to the airport later this week and wondered if they have been pretty reliable.

If anyone has any experience with them picking you up in the area of the U let me know if they were on time and got you to the airport in a reasonable amount of time.

How much is the SuperShuttle? Do they pick up anywhere on campus?

For move-in, we took a taxi from the airport (too many bags to drag on the lightrail/bus) and it ran around $55 one way. Otherwise the bus/light rail is the cheapest way to go and once the green line opens it will be even better!!

My son took the SuperShuttle on Thanksgiving day to get to the airport as his flight was very early in the morning. He scheduled his pick up from 6:00-6:15 in front of the McNair(?) Alumni Center and they were there on time. There were no other pickups (probably because it was Thanksgiving) so they took him straight to the airport. I believe the cost was $18 plus tip.

In six months you should be able to take the light rail. I just booked Super Shuttle for my kid at a different college to the airport. Go to the website and say you want to go to MSP, and when you search pick the “hotel/popular landmark” choice. Then type in “uni” in the search field, and it will give you a list of locations. Coffman Union is on the list. Or you can type in a specific address. Not sure if there is a sign by the union, but at my kid’s school there is a SuperShuttle logo sign by the campus pickup spot.
